Humanized Antibodies Against FSHR

Drug Name GPCR-targeted Project 020
Description

Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is a pituitary glycoprotein hormone, which is an important component of the endocrine axis that regulates gonadal function and fertility. FSH must bind to its receptor (FSHR) to transmit its signal, so both the magnitude and the target of hormone response are influenced by the level of FSHR and its specific expression.
Humanized antibodies targeting the FSHR are being developed to treat infertility. The antibodies showed high specificity and a long half-life in vivo and in vitro studies.
